House & Siding Soft Wash
Green algae, black mildew and grime on siding don’t just rinse off — they grow back when they’re only blasted at the surface. A soft wash uses low pressure and a cleaning solution that kills the growth at the root, then everything is rinsed thoroughly.
It’s safe for vinyl, brick and stucco, and it’s the same person — me, Aiden — quoting the job and doing it.
Price
Homes between these sizes are priced on a smooth scale in the online estimate. Starting prices — the final price is confirmed once I see the property.
What’s included
- Walk-around first to note plants, fixtures and any existing damage
- Plants and lawn near the work pre-wet, and rinsed again afterward
- Low-pressure soft wash of the siding, working in sections
- Thorough rinse of siding and windows so solution never dries on the glass
- Final walk-through with you (or photos if you’re not home)
Good to know
- Windows get a good rinse, not a detailed window cleaning, so some light water spotting can remain.
- Washing can’t fix paint that was already faded, oxidized or failing, or siding that was already damaged.
- Rust and red clay stains are a separate treatment, priced once I see them.
- A working outdoor water spigot with a hose connection is required — I don’t haul a water tank.
Questions
Is the solution safe for my grass and landscaping?
Plants and lawn near the work are pre-wet and rinsed afterward — the standard way to keep soft-wash solution from sitting on foliage. Tell me about sensitive plantings and they get extra care.
How often should siding be washed?
Roughly every 1–3 years. Shady lots and homes under trees need it sooner; sunny homes stay clean longer.
Do I need to be home?
Not for most exterior jobs, as long as the spigot is available and the work area is clear.
How long does it take?
A single-wide or double-wide house wash usually takes 1–3 hours depending on condition.
